BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Department of Homeland Security in collaboration with the Space Coast Progressive Alliance, invites you to participate in a Hometown Security Workshop on Friday, March 24 at 1 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Central Brevard Public Library, located at 308 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.
At a parade, a meeting, or a press conference, there is always the possibility of a conflict. Learn how to de-escalate a confronation and improve the safety of your oganization.
This workshop is designed to increase security awareness in the community and offer protective measures and planning resources that are available free of charge from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Join us as we work together to learn how to protect ourselves, and each other from potential threats
This open forum seminar will discuss and present Threat Awareness Briefing, Security Assistance to Public Gathering, Hometown Security, Active Shooter Preparedness and Suspicious Activity Recoginition and Reporting.
