Duran Golf Club To Host 11th Annual Space Coast Amateur Golf Championship March 18 and 19

Duran Golf Club in Viera will host the 11th Annual Space Coast Amateur Golf Championship on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Duran Golf Club in Viera will host the 11th Annual Space Coast Amateur Golf Championship on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19.

Duran Golf Cub, a business entity of The Viera Company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons Inc., opened in 2005 on land that was once a cattle ranch and sod farm. The Duran Golf course is a par-72, stretching 7,151 yards over stunning fairways, and around 15 ponds and lakes.

One hundred amateur golfers will compete for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights for a year. Contestant will play 36 holes in both gross and net division during the two-day competition.

“This event is shaping up to be one of the best ever held, and will have an elite field of talented amateur players from across the state,” said Matt Morrison, Duran Golf Club Head PGA Professional.

“The course will be in exceptional condition for the tournament, and thanks to the addition of a few sponsors, this year’s event will also feature upgraded prizes to the flight winners.”

Contestant will need to pre-register for this event as there are only 100 spot available. Participants will pay a $125 entry fee, which will cover the cost of two rounds of tournament play, practice balls prior to the tournament, lunch for both days and prizes.
