Cocoa Beach police has reported that a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle and killed in the 200 block of South Orlando at about 4 a.m. on Thursday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach police has reported that Brian Holley, 37, of Cocoa Beach, was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle and killed in the 200 block of South Orlando at Thursday morning.

According to Cocoa Beach Police Sgt. Manny Hernandez, at approximately 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Holley was struck and killed in the 200 block area of S. Orlando Avenue by a motorist traveling southbound, who then fled the scene.

“Cocoa Beach police are actively looking for a vehicle of interest described as a large 4-door, white pick-up truck (dually), towing a center-console boat with a dark hull,” said Sgt. Hernandez.

“There is also a large cooler located in the bed of the truck. Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.”
