This is not the first time that the 27 employee company has donated to local law enforcement agencies.
According to owner Carl Ring, whom Space Coast Daily spoke with this morning, Ring’s donated one bullet proof vest to every K-9 Unit in Brevard County.
“We want to give the local law enforcement the tools they need to do their job and make the community safer, ” said owners Carl and Shirley Ring.
“I am very appreciative and honored by their donation,” said Palm Bay Police Chief Mark Renkens.
“We will use this motorcycle to educate and make the roadways safer in Palm Bay. We will place a lot emphasis on pedestrian and bicycle safety/enforcement.”
Palm Bay currently has two police motorcycles, which were donated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Both of these Honda’s are in need of replacement.
The new Harley Davidson Police motorcycle will hit the streets of Palm Bay in approximately eight to 10 weeks.
