BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police officers responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Main Street on Monday at about 3:45 p.m.
According to Titusville Police Department Public Affairs Coordinator/Public Information Officer Amy Matthews, the preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Barney Bradford Moses, 69, of Titusville, was traveling westbound on Main Street.
“Moses failed to observe the posted STOP sign and continued through the intersection of Main Street and Park Avenue without stopping,” said Matthews.
Moses struck a 2005 Kia Sport Utility Vehicle driven by Tamara Jaye Warren, 21, of Titusville, who was traveling northbound on Park Avenue.
Moses also struck a 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by Leroy Lee Engen, 80, of Titusville, who was traveling southbound on Park Avenue. The impact of the crash partially ejected Moses.
Moses was pulled from the vehicle and airlifted to local hospital in serious condition. Warren was ground transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Engen and his passenger did not sustain any injuries.
