If you are going to take advantage of Florida’s waters, make sure you always boat sober! Boating is an ideal activity to enjoy by yourself or with the company of friends and family.

Regardless of how much fun you are having, it is important to always make safety a priority.

The annual Operation Dry Water campaign kicks off today, so our officers will pay extra-close attention to boating under the influence (BUI), but you should know we have a zero-tolerance policy for operating a boat while under the influence EVERY day of the year.

If you decide to take alcohol on your voyage, have a designated operator who will remain sober to ensure everyone gets home safely.
