58-year-old James Bellamy Bickerstaff Dies In Crash

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly crash that involved two vehicles early Wednesday morning near State Road A1A and Ocean Oaks Dr. in Indialantic.
58-year-old James Bellamy Bickerstaff from Indialantic was killed as a result of the crash Wednesday morning.
According to Steven Montiero of the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when Bickerstaff was traveling south on State Road A1A in his 1990 Mercedez-Benz when he collided head on with a 2007 Lincoln traveling north in the southbound lane on A1A.
Bickerstaff was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Lincoln vehicle, 23-year-old Ian Joel Morkan Colon, was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
The passenger inside the vehicle that Bickerstaff was driving, 40-year-old Hannah Tes Sullivan, was also transported to Holmes Regional with serious injuries.
FHP is still investigating the crash.
