BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Over $32,600 was raised during Jersey Mike’s annual Day of Giving recently with funds going to The Children’s Hunger Project.
Thanks to this fundraising effort, more than 200 children will receive a package of food each weekend during the upcoming school year.
Nadine Smith from Jersey Mike’s commented “we couldn’t do this without the tremendous support of the people from Brevard County.
We have so many people come out on this specific day because they know that their money is going to help support The Children’s Hunger Project.”

This year all six local Jersey Mike’s Subs locations, along with The Children’s Hunger Project’s media partner iHeartMedia, helped raise awareness and money to address the problem of local kids going hungry on the weekends.
Nic Stalnaker from iHeartMedia added “thanks to the local community and our listeners for supporting this great cause.”
This annual event surpassed last year’s efforts and plans are already in place to raise more money for The Children’s Hunger Project in 2018.
