According to the Cocoa Beach police, juvenile runaway Rose Louise Janes was located safe in Cape Canaveral on Tuesday evening.

ORIGINAL STORY:  Cocoa Beach Police Actively Searching For 17-Year-Old Rose Louise Janes

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating juvenile runaway, Rose Louise Janes, 17, of Cocoa Beach.

According to Cocoa Beach police, Janes was reported to have left her Cocoa Beach home on Bougainvillea Drive on Sunday evening, April 16, at about 9:30 p.m. and has not returned home nor contacted her family.

There is no evidence of foul play and it is believed that Janes had departed the home on her own accord.

Janes is described as 5-feet-3 inches tall, 160 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes, and wears eyeglasses.

According to police, she was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a red/burgundy t-shirt under a gray “hoodie” sweatshirt, and is possibly carrying a white and black striped backpack.
