BCSO Updates Motorists On Road Closures After ‘Large Multi-Vehicle Accident’ and Visibility Issues

UPDATE** BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – According to an update by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office:
I-95 at SR 407 closed westbound
I-95 at SR 528 closed westbound
State Road 520 is now open
SR 528 west from US 1 is open to I-95

PREVIOUS STORY
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol and BCSO says due to a large multi-vehicle accident early Sunday morning on SR 528 (Beachline), SR 528 is shut down at I-95 in both directions at exit 205.
SR 528 at US 1 is closed to traffic westbound and the exit at I-95 and SR 407 is closed to traffic westbound at exit 212.
ORIGINAL STORY
Florida Highway Patrol has closed eastbound State Road 528 at State Road 520 and westbound at I-95 and State Road 407 due to poor visibility in the area.
Closure went into effect at 3 a.m.
FHP encourages drivers to avoid the area as much as possible.
