BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past week during a residential burglary in the Titusville area the perpetrators not only took personal property from the victims home but also stole their most precious possession – “Beanie,” the family dog who is a 6-pound, 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier.

The family discovered that their residence had been burglarized Wednesday afternoon when they came home to find a window broken and “Beanie” missing. The perpetrator(s) ransacked the home, taking jewelry, silverware and personal items before also leaving with the dog.

The heartbroken family is focused on bringing “Beanie” back home and have even placed flyers across Central Florida that offer a $5,000 reward by the family for the safe return of their beloved dog.

“Beanie” is described as having silver and tan silky fur and a small black mole on her left eyelid.

In an effort to develop leads pertaining to the case, I have asked the Brevard County Sheriff’s Pet Posse, a 501 (c)(3) to offer an additional $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for this burglary and the safe recovery of “Beanie.”
