BCSO Identifies Two Elderly Couple Found Dead In Rockledge In Apparent Murder-Suicide

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people found dead Tuesday night in a murder-suicide investigation on McIver Lane in Rockledge.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people found dead Tuesday night in a murder-suicide investigation on McIver Lane in Rockledge.

According to Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriffs Office, the 66-year-old woman found dead is identified as Maureen Bridge Morley, while the 82-year-old man was identified as Harry Marshall Morley Jr.

Deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency 911 call at around 6:25 p.m. from Mr. Morley who claimed that he had just shot and killed his wife.

When deputies arrived, they say Mr. Morley was seen briefly at the front door, then heard one shot from within the residence. After forced entry into the home, authorities found the husband and wife dead.
