BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police are investigating a string of burglaries that took place Thursday against three businesses in A1A Plaza that included Madd Jack’s Bar-B-Que Shack, Let’s Talk Dirty laundromat and Ashley’s Pool and Irrigation located on the 600 block of N. Atlantic Ave.
Police say each business was entered through a smashed window during the early morning hours of Thursday, May 11.
“Surveillance footage captured a suspect walking around the plaza and inside one of the businesses between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.,” said Deputy Chief Wes Mullins of the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
“The suspect appears to be a white male carrying a backpack, wearing a light color, long sleeve shirt, long pants and a ball cap.”
All of the businesses sustained damage, however, property stolen during this incident does not appear to be of significant value, according to authorities.
Investigators are actively following up on leads and have obtained ‘still’ photographs of the surveillance footage.
Anyone who may have information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Cocoa Beach Police Department at 321-868-3251.
