FHP Identifies Motorcyclist Killed Sunday Night On I-95 In South Brevard

Florida Highway Patrol has released the identity of the man killed on a motorcycle along I-95 Sunday evening as 52-year-old Edward Quinones of Palm Bay.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA –  Florida Highway Patrol has released the identity of the man killed on a motorcycle along I-95 Sunday evening as 52-year-old Edward Quinones of Palm Bay.

According to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, Quinones was traveling southbound on his 2005 Yamaha motorcycle on I-95 near mile marker 186, between Pineda Cswy and Eau Gallie, when a vehicle struck the motorcyclist and knocking the man off the bike.

Quinones was subsequently run over by a vehicle, as the motorcycle ended up underneath a semi truck.

FHP says the incident involved a total of four vehicles and a semi truck.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
