Motorcyclist Killed On I-95 After Collision With Semi Truck, Closed Southbound I-95 Sunday Night

Florida Highway Patrol has responded to deadly crash on I-95 that involved a motorcyclist and semi-truck Sunday evening between Pineda Cswy and Eau Gallie Blvd.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol has responded to deadly crash on I-95 that involved a motorcyclist and semi-truck Sunday evening between Pineda Causeway and Eau Gallie in Melbourne.

One person has been confirmed dead, according to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers are currently en route to the fatal crash as officials say the crash occurred on I-95 near mile marker 187

The result of the crash has shutdown the southbound lanes on I-95 between Pineda Causeway and Eau Gallie.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m.

Officials advise motorists to use an alternate route.
