Brevard County Fire Rescue Bring Home Medals In 2017 First Responders Games

Lt. Mike DeStefano wins Gold in bench press, deadlift

Brevard County Fire Rescue won some hardware at the 2017 First Responders Games this year. Lieutenant Mike DeStefano won the gold medal in the 2017 First Responder Games with a 405 pound bench press and a 535 lb deadlift in the 198 pound weight class. Firefighter Jason Gaskins took the silver medal for a 205 lb bench press and a 415 lb deadlift in the 148 pound weight class.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue won some hardware at the 2017 First Responders Games this year. 

Lieutenant Mike DeStefano won the gold medal in the 2017 First Responder Games with a 405 pound bench press, and a 535 pound deadlift in the 198 pound weight class.

Firefighter Jason Gaskins took the silver medal for a 205 pound bench press and a 415 pound deadlift in the 148 pound weight class.

The games were held in West Palm Beach this year.

The department and citizens wish to congratulate the men for their achievements.
