Brevard Zoo To Present Youth Environmental Summit Conservation Workshop For Teens July 29

BREVARD COUNTY, MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Zoo hopes to empower central Florida youth to take part in local and international conservation efforts at the sixth annual Youth Environmental Summit (YES), scheduled for Saturday, July 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Brevard Zoo is home to more than 800 animals representing 180 species from all over the world. As a not-for-profit organization, it is a leader in the fields of animal wellness, education and conservation.

The event, which is organized by members of the Zoo Teen program for peers ages 12–18, features hands-on workshops, art projects and interactive panel discussions.

The diverse array of topics covered includes amphibians, sea turtles, bat houses and recycling.

A $15 fee, which includes lunch, is required to attend. Registration is now open at BrevardZoo.org/youthsummit
