BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA (WFTV) – A former Rockledge city councilman denies he shot into another man’s vehicle on Tuesday, but he is still facing charges.
Ralph McCoig is a licensed real estate broker, a former Rockledge councilman and the suspect in a shooting into an occupied vehicle near the corner of Seminole Drive and Barton Avenue in Rockledge.
“He has numerous businesses, he is a pillar of the community, he has no criminal offenses at this time,” said his defense attorney.
“When he was apprehended, he had no weapon on him and we’re pleading not guilty to all of the charges.”
