WASHINGTON D.C. – Sean Spicer has resigned from his position as White House Press Secretary on Friday.

The move comes as a Trump booster and Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci was expected to be named as the White House communications director.

Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee has since been promoted to White House Press Secretary.

Sanders has been conducting the press briefings more recently which have no longer been televised live and conducted off-camera.
