BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are seeking to identify and locate an armed robbery suspect that shot a China 1 Restaurant worker during a robbery late Wednesday night.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
According to Titusville Police, units responded to an armed robbery and shooting at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, at the China 1 Restaurant located on 1556 Harrison Street.
Police say the preliminary investigation has revealed, “the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a handgun, threatened the counter attendant and forcibly took money from the register,” said Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.
“The suspect proceeded to shoot the counter attendant before exiting the restaurant and was last seen running east on Harrison Street.”
Police described the suspect as a black male, approximately six feet tall, slender build and was wearing a black handkerchief embossed with a white skull around his face.
Titusville PD says the suspect also wore a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, a black knit cap and wore black shoes with white soles.
