ORLANDO, FLORIDA (ESPN) – Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld scored a pair of long-range screamers to help Tottenham Hotspur to a 4-2 win over 10-man Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
Edinson Cavani gave PSG an early lead that was quickly overturned by Eriksen and Eric Dier, though Javier Pastore soon brought the International Champions Cup game level again at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
PSG goalkeeper Kevin Trapp was sent off in the first minute of the second half for handling the ball outside his box, but Spurs were frustrated until Alderweireld struck in the 82nd minute, and Harry Kane added a late penalty.
In the sixth minute, Adrien Rabiot took advantage of an error from Spurs’ U.S. international defender Cameron Carter-Vickers at the centre line to run in on goal, before passing across for Cavani to tap in.
