Paula Wallace of Savannah College of Art and Design To Keynote 2017 Brevard Cultural Alliance ‘Cultural Summit’

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Cultural Alliance, the professional organization representing Brevard County’s arts and cultural sector, is hosting the 2nd Cultural Summit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Debus Center on July 25.
The Summit will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the KSC Visitor Complex’s Debus Center, and will feature three tracks of workshops, tailored to cultural organizations, artists and arts educators, all delivered at the KSC Astronauts Memorial Foundation.
These interactive workshops will be presented by leaders from:
• Americans for the Arts
• Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Leadership, Rollins College
• Florida Institute of Technology
• Orlando Shakespeare Theater
The event’s keynote address will be presented by Paula Wallace, president and founder of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) during a special luncheon. At the luncheon, we’ll also hear the results of BCA’s latest Economic Impact Study.

“We’re pleased to bring the Cultural Summit back again,” said BCA Executive Director Neil Levine.
“It provides a unique opportunity for cultural leaders, artists and educators to engage with best practice and gain new strategies for growing the arts and cultural sector.”
The cost to attend the full-day summit is $50 for BCA members, $60 for non-members, or $35 for the luncheon only. Full-day admission cost includes continental breakfast, lunch, all sessions and parking fees.
