BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVIULLE, FLORIDA – A drainage pipe failure has prompted an emergency road closure on Ford Road, near its intersection with Lancaster Lane, in Titusville.

Brevard County Public Works will set up detours and anticipates the road will be closed a minimum of three weeks while Road & Bridge replaces the culvert.

The County was notified Saturday morning by Brevard County Sheriff’s Office when a hole was discovered in the road.

Road & Bridge determined the metal pipe under the road had failed and was collapsing the roadway, making it unsafe for motorists.
