ORLANDO, FLORIDA (UCF Knights) – The 2017 UCF Football season is here, as #KnightsCamp opened up Thursday night inside Nicholson Fieldhouse.
Unsurprisingly, the theme of the evening was speed with the Knights continuing to do everything #UCFast.
“Each step and each day I go through this, I take advantage of it,” said Shaquem Griffin.
“I’m going to start something new for the first time. I’m staying the night in the Wayne Densch for the rest of the camp, so that’s kind of cool. I went to go buy a blow-up mattress and a comforter. I was like, I’m going to get the full experience of camp.
This is my last one, so I’m the only one who’s going to be staying at the Wayne Densch, watching film, going to the weight room, just get the full experience,” Griffin added.
“Today’s first practice was good overall. I feel like everyone competed well,” said Tre’Quan Smith.
“Everyone wanted to be out here. You could see the enthusiasm in everybody. Like Coach Frost said, if we practice like this throughout camp, we’re going to have a good camp.”
The second season of UCF Football under head coach Scott Frost is just around the corner.
