BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Hurricane Center is currently monitoring a storm system in the Atlantic that has a 60-percent chance of formation in the next five days.

The system is located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

The disturbance is continuing to move west at 15 mph over the Atlantic.
