BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Sunshine State Conference is proud to launch its new logos as part of the ongoing evolution of the league’s brand.

The new marks reflect the SSC’s geography, future, and emphasis on academic and athletic excellence.

“We hope you share in our excitement as we launch this new brand and celebrate the proud 42-year tradition of the Sunshine State Conference,” stated SSC Commissioner Ed Pasque.

“We look forward to a bright future filled with academic and athletic success of SSC student-athletes.”

Joe Bosack & Co. was tasked with creating the new marks for “The conference of national champions.” Bosack & Co. worked closely with the conference office, member institutions, coaches, and student-athletes during the creative process of the new brand.

During planning stages, Bosack & Co. drew inspiration from the compelling attraction of SSC institutions, the league’s continued academic and athletic success, as well as the distinctive Florida lifestyle.

The SSC has a Division II best 86 percent Academic Success Rate. This past spring Florida Tech had 152 Panthers named to the Spring Honor Roll, 37 possessed a 4.0 GPA.

Similar to previous SSC marks, the new primary logo includes the league’s full name “Sunshine State Conference.” For the first time in conference history, its brand identity will include a secondary option that replaces the full name of the conference with the acronym “SSC.”

All league members will be able to display the SSC mark in school specific colors, another first for the conference.

Together these marks provide the conference and its members the versatility to strongly display the new brand in both traditional and modern ways.

The new primary and secondary marks have been optimized for traditional applications such as team uniforms and signage as well as digitally on the web, in social media, and on television.
