BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – First Choice Healthcare announced Friday that the company experienced no structural damage to its seven facilities located throughout the Space Coast as a result of Hurricane Irma’s Florida landfall.

“Kris Jones, our VP of Medical Operations and her team are to be commended for the execution of the well-organized plan to protect staff, our patients and our assets both before and after Irma made landfall,” said First Choice President and CEO, Chris Romandetti.

“While First Choice business operations have resumed, many elective surgical cases are being rescheduled due to lack of available recovery beds at local hospitals given overcrowding associated with the storm. We are doing everything possible to facilitate a return to normalcy and expect our surgical caseload to resume early next week.”
