BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Currently, there is an erroneous rumor circulating on Facebook and other social media components that two homes in our county have been robbed by perpetrators posing as FPL Employees.

There have been ZERO reports of this type of activity to our agency so please do not be alarmed by the rumors being perpetrated on social media about this type of criminal activity.

If you see this circulating please do not further share the information and also encourage others not to be alarmed as well.

It is also important to note that FPL employees and other legitimate corporations do not go door to door for solicitations so if someone does come to your door do not open your door and immediately contact your local Law Enforcement Agency.
