PR Professional of the Year – Michael Gardner, APR, CPRC: The Space Coast FPRA’s highest honor is presented to an active and committed FPRA member in recognition of the member’s contribution of time, energy, enthusiasm and skill to the field of public relations. Gardner is the Director of Communications for Christian Care Ministry in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association invites chapter members and the public to its annual PR Professional and Communicator of the Year Awards Banquet & Board Installation on Wednesday, September 27 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront.

The 2016 PR Professional of the Year, Michael Gardner, APR, CPRC, and Communicator of the Year, 211 Brevard, will be honored for their excellence in the public relations profession and outstanding communications efforts.

The banquet takes place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for FPRA members, $50 for non-members, and $30 for students if registered before Sept. 22. Ticket prices increase by $10 after Sept. 22. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar will be available.

Communicator of the Year – 211 Brevard: The Communicator of the Year Award is presented to a member or organization in the community who exhibited outstanding efforts throughout the year. 211 Brevard provides information and assistance in times of crisis and is being honored for their communication efforts during Hurricanes Matthew and Irma.
