BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Holz Center opened to the public in July and the Brevard County community is much better off now that the it’s founders, James and Pam Holz, have realized another part of their dream.

Located at the former Southern Photo building on 125 East Nasa Boulevard in Melbourne, “The Holz Center is designed to help as many children and adults as possible,” said Founder James Holz.

“It offers a variety of resources for children with any special needs, including ADD, mental disabilities, and physical disabilities. Our goal is to help bring together the Brevard community so that no one feels alone in their struggle.”

Holtz and his wife Pam also founded the Puzzle Box Academy in 2014, which features comprehensive, individualized education to Brevard County children with autism and other developmental delays.

Looking at every opportunity as a way to help the community, the Holz’s, their staff and the children they help educate are holding a fundraiser to help those that suffered the most following the most recent rash of hurricanes to include Harvey, Irma and now Maria.

The fundraiser, “Sunshinie for Florida,” set for Sept. 29 will feature art created by children with developmental delays which will be transformed into a digital format and sold to raise funds to help families.

If history is indeed our greatest teacher, then there is little doubt that “Sunshine for Florida” will succeed and raise money for recent hurricane victims .

Last winter, the Foundation sponsored 3,000 Christmas shoeboxes for the children of Haiti, to bring hope to the youngest residents of the storm ravaged country. Recently, the Foundation sponsored more than $225,000 in scholarships for children attending Palm Bay’s Puzzle Box Academy for the 2016-2017 school year.

The Holz Foundation is a faith-based charitable organization dedicated to helping those who need support the most. The mission statement of The Holz Foundation is simply put: “Fulfilling the Great Commission.”
