Openings/Closings For Brevard County Parks, Boat Ramps and Libraries For Wednesday, Sept. 27

Due to damages from Hurricane Irma, Brevard County park openings are sporadic. Residents are encouraged to contact local parks to ensure they are open before visiting. Here are Parks Openings expected on Wednesday. Sept. 27.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Due to damages from Hurricane Irma, Brevard County park openings are sporadic. Residents are encouraged to contact local parks to ensure they are open before visiting. Here are Parks Openings expected on Wednesday. Sept. 27.

All Community Centers are now OPEN

North Area Closed:
Fox Lake Park
Hatbill Park
Rotary Riverfront Park*
Six Mile Creek
Space View Park
Kennedy Point Park
Sand Point Park*
Nicol Park Playground*
*Rotary Riverfront Park South is closed, but Rotary Park North that includes the restrooms, pavilion and playground is open.
*Sand Point Park is partially closed, only the Max Brewer Causeway entrance is open
*Nicol Park Playground is closed, the rest of the park remains open

South Area Closed:
Kiwanis Park at Geiger Point
Rotary Park at Suntree
Wickham Park

Marina Boat Ramp
Parrish Park Titusville Boat Ramp (south side only)

All County golf courses, The Habitat Golf Course, The Savannahs and Spessard Holland Golf Course, are open for play.

Long Point Campground is Open. All other Brevard County operated campgrounds are closed.
