Registration Now Open For Brevard Zoo’s Fall Educational Offerings

Programs are designed for children of all ages

Summer is still a few months away, but parents can already begin to fill children’s summer schedules by registering them for camps at Brevard Zoo.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Registration is now open for Brevard Zoo’s fall educational offerings.

Programs are designed for children of all ages, but broken down into these specific age groups: Zooper Kids (ages 2–4), Night Hikes and Overnights (ages 5–12) and Jr. Zookeeper Club (ages 10–13). A monthly program for homeschooled students is also available.

New this year are art workshops for adult/child pairs. Described as “Painting With a Twist” for families, participants will create a painting of a Zoo animal under the instruction of a local artist.

The Zoo is offering free family outdoor experiences throughout Brevard County on select Saturday mornings. Registration is required; interested parties can email edregistrar@brevardzoo.org for more information.

Brevard Zoo is home to more than 800 animals representing 180 species from all over the world. As a not-for-profit organization, it is a leader in the fields of animal wellness, education and conservation.

Most programs include games, crafts and animal encounters. Discounts are available for Zoo Members.
