SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Bobby Freeman reports Live from Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida with a beach and surf report.
Good Afternoon, Surfers
Friday
Waves Friday morning will run in the thigh- to waist-high range with semi-bumpy conditions from an early northeasterly wind.
Saturday
Wave heights will increase into the mostly waist-high range with early morning offshore winds possible.
Sunday
Strong northwesterly winds from an approaching cold front will decrease wave heights throughout the day.
Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 77 degrees.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Bob Freeman has been surfing Brevard’s waves since 1966. He was also the first to surf several of North Carolina’s remote islands in the mid ’60s and travels frequently to surf in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Mexico and Hawaii. He provided his first surf reporting and weekend forecasts in 1968 live on WKKO radio from the RonJon Surf Shop on Cocoa Beach Pier. He was the 1968 Florida Men’s Surfing Champion and is the current Florida Legend’s Surfing Champion. He has gathered over 300 amateur 1st place awards in both shortboard and longboard divisions. He is a 2014 Inductee into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame.
