Florida Tech Men’s Swimming Team Ranked 16th in Preseason In Coaches Poll

The Florida Tech men’s swimming team is ranked 16th in the CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Preseason Poll, released by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America on Tuesday.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech men’s swimming team is ranked 16th in the CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Preseason Poll, released by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

The No. 16 preseason ranking is the highest in the program’s history.

The Panthers received 76 total points in the poll. Queens University of Charlotte is ranked as the top men’s team in the preseason with 200 points. Drury is second with 192 points.

Joining Florida Tech in the poll are fellow Sunshine State Conference members Nova Southeastern (3rd), Florida Southern (9th), Tampa (10th) and Saint Leo (23rd).

The rankings are voted on by CSCAA-member coaches and are scheduled for release throughout the 2017-18 season on Nov. 14, Dec. 19, Jan. 16 and Feb. 6.
