Indian River County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the beach near Saint Christopher Lane Sunday in reference to a whopper 12-foot alligator spotted by a resident. (IRCSO image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Indian River County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the beach near Saint Christopher Lane Sunday in reference to a whopper 12-foot alligator spotted by a resident.

“Deputies assisted a professional trapper who was used to capture the alligator,” said IRCSO officials on Facebook.

“The animal will be relocated to an area well clear of this residential neighborhood.”

Indian River County is located just south of Brevard County.
