Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization To Hold Wickham Road Operational Analysis Public Meeting

The Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization will hold a Wickham Road Operational Analysis public meeting Oct. 25 at the Wickham Park Community Center, located at 2815 Leisure Way in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization will hold a Wickham Road Operational Analysis public meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Wickham Park Community Center, located at 2815 Leisure Way in Melbourne.

The public is invited to attend this open meeting for a study being conducted on Wickham Road by the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization in coordination with Brevard County and the City of Melbourne.

The study limits include Wickham Road from Eau Gallie Boulevard to Lake Washington Road, and the purpose is to evaluate alternatives that improve congestion and safety and also address pedestrian, bicycle, and transit needs.

The study team will present preliminary improvement alternatives based on the issues/opportunities identified during existing conditions analysis.

After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to speak with staff and the consultant one-on-one about their ideas and which alternative(s) they prefer.

The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 6 p.m.
