BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – How to Start an LLC just posted their ranking of 2017’s Top 100 Cities to Start a Business in the U.S. and Brevard County fared well with Melbourne coming in at 44 and Palm Bay at 45.
Orlando was the top-ranked city in Florida at 41.
Other Florida cities on the list were Hollywood at 46, Pompano Beach at 47, Pembroke Pines at 48, Fort Lauderdale at 49, Deerfield Beach at 50, Hialeah at 68, Homestead at 69, Miami at 70, Miami Beach at 71, Lakeland at 76 and Sanford at 91.
The states with the most highly-ranked cities were California, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Colorado and Ohio.
The metrics factored into the ranking included cost of living, unemployment, university data and the Kauffman index. Only cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants are reported in the results.
