Florida Tech’s 3rd Annual Day of Giving In Full Swing Today, Looks To Set University Record

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Today, Florida Tech is holding its 3rd Annual Day of Giving and the Florida Tech Athletic programs are looking for your help in reaching their donation goals.

You can be a part of the biggest day of the year for the university. All it takes is a gift of $5 or more to your favorite varsity team. Florida Tech is looking to  set a new university record this year – their goal is to raise 2,000 donations in 24 hours.

In response to alumni feedback, FIT will be sharing day-of dollars and donors for each of their teams through the day. Show your Panther Pride and help your team claim the top spot!

The event begins at 12 a.m. on Tuesday morning and will go until 11:59 p.m. tonight. Gifts can be entered online between that time period at the special Day of Giving website: www.dayofgiving.fit.edu

Again, the minimum online donation is $5, and every gift makes a difference.

Florida Tech’s 3rd annual Day of Giving corresponds with the global virtual movement known as Giving Tuesday that celebrates the spirit of giving back.
