Man Shot Multiple Times In Incident On Peachtree Street In Cocoa, Police Seeking Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division are currently investigating a shooting in which a 44-year-old male was sent to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
“The shooting occurred in the 600 block of Peachtree Street,” said Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez.
“The first 911 call was received at 4:24 a.m. Detectives are in the process of conducting interviews and gathering evidence in order to determine the events that led up to the incident and a possible motive.”
According to Martinez, early findings indicate the shooting was not a random act.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Florida Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
