Palm Bay police and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are on high alert after detecting a social media treat directed at Southwest Middle School, located at 451 Eldron Boulevard SE in Palm Bay.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are on high alert after detecting a social media threat directed at Southwest Middle School, located at 451 Eldron Boulevard SE in Palm Bay.

Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the source of the threat, which will not delay or cancel any school activities as of Thursday night.
