Road Closure Announced For December 2 Merritt Island Holiday Parade

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway (SR3) from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue and Merritt Avenue east to Plumosa Avenue at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway (SR3) from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue and Merritt Avenue east to Plumosa Avenue at 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade.

The traffic will be re-routed to Tropical Trail, SR 520 and SR 528. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time.
