Small Business Administration Will Remain in Cocoa Agricultural Center to Assist with Irma Recovery

SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Although the Disaster Recovery Center in Cocoa has closed, the Small Business Administration will continue to have representatives on-site at the University of Florida IFAS Agricultural Center through the end of the month, to assist residents and businesses in applying for low-interest loans.
SBA representatives will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, to provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses in completing the SBA application.
As part of disaster recovery, the SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans for physical damage and working capital.
To be considered for this assistance, survivors need to apply by the deadline.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Nov. 24, 2017. The deadline to return economic injury applications is June 11, 2018.
The Agricultural Center is located at 3695 Lake Drive in Cocoa.
