This week’s “Wheel of Fugitive” winner, Travis Marion thought that by fleeing to Colorado he would avoid arrest, however citizens who saw him on this week’s episode of “Wheel of Fugitive” knew that the long arm of the law would find him no matter where he was hiding.

ADAMS COUNTY, COLORADO – This week’s “Wheel of Fugitive” winner, Travis Marion thought that by fleeing to Colorado he would avoid arrest, however citizens who saw him on this week’s episode of “Wheel of Fugitive” knew that the long arm of the law would find him no matter where he was hiding.

Within minutes after Marion was selected as this week’s “Fugitive of the Week,” citizens started sending us information on his whereabouts including information that he had fled the state and was possibly in Colorado.

Thanks to the various tips and some good old fashion investigative work by our Agents, we were able to determine that Marion was hiding in Adams County, Colorado.

Members of our Fugitive Unit requested the assistance of the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force who subsequently took Marion in to custody based upon the active Florida warrants for his arrest. Marion was detained in Colorado on a “No Bond” status for Failure To Appear for Possession of Cocaine, Resisting Arrest Without Violence and Reckless Driving.

At the time of his arrest, Marion confessed to knowing he was wanted and that he had been featured on “Wheel of Fugitive.”

Marion stated that a friend from Brevard County had messaged him and told him to watch this week’s episode. Marion did not think our Fugitive Unit would locate him in Colorado but apparently he didn’t realize what happens when Citizens and Law Enforcement partner together to take criminals off our streets!

I want to personally thank our citizens for helping us get another criminal off our streets, our Fugitive Agents for their excellent investigative work and the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force for partnering with us to take Marion into custody!
