FHP: Three Sleeping Children Injured When Vehicle Crashes Into Bedroom in Cocoa

Johnny Woodberry ticketed for careless driving

Three children were injured early Saturday morning when a car crashed into a bedroom where the children were sleeping.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Three children were injured early Saturday morning when a car crashed into a bedroom where the children were sleeping.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Johnny Woodberry, 44, of Cocoa was driving a 2005 Cadillac on Lunar Lake Circle at 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

For an unknown reason, Woodberry lost control and traveled into the yard of 763 Lunar Lake Circle where the front of Woodberry’s Cadillac struck the house and continued into a bedroom, where three children were asleep.

All three children received minor injuries and were taken to Wuestoff Medical Center and then released.

Woodberry was ticketed for careless driving. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, alcohol did not play a role in this incident.
