Titusville Police have released the name of the man killed in Titusville double-shooting investigation as 30-year-old Lorenzo Jamal Bell.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are seeking a homicide suspect after two people were shot during a dispute between several people at 1155 Milton Street late Friday night.

Police say 30-year-old Lorenzo Jamal Bell was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hospital. The other male shot, identified as a 28-year-old Cocoa man, was taken to a trauma hospital by helicopter.

According police, just before 11 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to a report of a shooting at 1155 Milton St where a witness found a gunshot victim in the driveway.

Officers tried using CPR until EMS personnel arrived, but Bell was pronounced dead later at the hospital.

According to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department, the 28-year-old Cocoa man shot is believed to be related to the shooting on Milton Street and arrived at the hospital a short time later where he was transported to a trauma center via helicopter for life-threatening injuries.

“The preliminary investigation reveals what appears to have been a dispute between several people that are known to each other,” said Matthews.

“Investigators are working on leads and are encouraging anyone with information to contact police.”
