The City of Cocoa Beach is holding tryouts on Tuesday, July 12 at 7 a.m.for year-around lifeguard positions at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center, located at 4800 Tom Warriner Boulevard.
The City of Cocoa Beach is holding tryouts on March 16 at 7 a.m. for seasonal part-time lifeguard positions at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center, located at 4800 Tom Warriner Boulevard.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The City of Cocoa Beach is holding tryouts on March 16 at 7 a.m. for seasonal part-time lifeguard positions at the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center, located at 4800 Tom Warriner Boulevard.

This position offers a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and you may be asked to work holidays. Starting salary is $9.17 per hour.

A current lifeguard certification is not required and a lifeguard certification class will be provided at no cost to those selected.

The Pre-Screening Swim Test Requirements Are:
• 100-yard swim, non-stop, using front crawl or breaststroke
•  2 minutes treading water without hands
• Retrieve 10-pound dive brick from 12.5 feet of water using a feetfirst surface dive
