Melbourne Police are on scene of a vehicle crash along US-1 at Brevard Dr. Wednesday night that has temporarily closed southbound US-1.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are on scene of a vehicle crash along US-1 at Brevard Dr. Wednesday night that has temporarily closed southbound US-1.

Officials are advising motorists to avoid the area and find an alternate route, if possible, to avoid delays.

Northbound US-1 is open, according to a Melbourne Police spokesperson.

The crash happened around 6 p.m.
