VIDEO UPDATE: Cocoa Police Seek Public’s Help in Burglary, Vandalism at Endeavour Elementary School

ABOVE VIDEO: Video surveillance capture three people breaking into Endeavour Elementary Magnet School located on Pineda Street in Cocoa on Sunday. Police detectives are seeking information following the incident.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police detectives are seeking information following a burglary that occurred on Sunday at Endeavour Elementary Magnet School located on Pineda Street in Cocoa.

According to Cocoa Police Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez, patrol officers responded to Endeavour Elementary Magnet School on Sunday after reports of a burglary.

“When officers arrived they found five portable buildings and eight classrooms had been burglarized,” said Martinez.

“The initial investigation revealed the suspects stole at least six laptops and vandalized the property causing damage inside multiple classrooms.”

Crime scene technicians are in the process of collecting video from the school’s security camera.  Evidence from the initial response is also being forwarded to detectives for a follow-up investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and can be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 in this case.
