BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Earlier this past week members of our Fugitive Unit arrested George Shorter who had been identified as the “Fugitive of the Week” during our weekly Facebook Post, “Wheel of Fugitive.”

The arrest took place as our Fugitive Agents were checking a suspected address where Shorter was known to previously live and observed him in the immediate area. Shorter was taken into custody without incident and stated that he was unaware there was an active warrant for his arrest.

Shorter was transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was detained on a “No Bond” status warrant for Contempt of Court for Failure To Serve Farm Time in reference to a Burglary.

Another great job by our Fugitive Unit in getting another criminal off our streets and safely behind bars where they can’t perpetrate any more crimes.
