BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit arrested Jennifer Martin, who was a contestant on “Wheel of Fugitive” this past week.
While Martin was not the featured winner, it still didn’t take long for one of our citizens to alert us to where we could find her hiding and attempting to avoid arrest.
Not long after the airing of last week’s “Wheel of Fugitive” show, our Fugitive Unit received an anonymous tip of Martin’s whereabouts.
Martin was subsequently taken into custody without incident at the address that was provided in the tip by our citizen who partnered with us to take another Fugitive off our streets.
At the time of her arrest, Martin admitted to knowing she had a warrant and also that her neighbor had informed her she was on the “Wheel of Fugitive.”
Martin was transported to the Brevard County Jail on an active warrant for Violation of Probation reference Burglary of a Dwelling and Grand Theft. She was held on a bond of $7,500 per the instructions in the warrant.
This arrest is another perfect example of what happens when our citizens and Law Enforcement work together to take criminals off our streets.
Please join me in thanking our citizen for providing the information and our Fugitive Unit for another job well done.
